I’m a science communications specialist, writer and designer.
I want to make science fun and accessible to people all over the world. I write and design science content in documentary television and film, for the web, and more recently in mobile apps.

RECENT PROJECTS
I am proud to have recently brought two digital projects to life. Both are exploring how digital technologies can promote learning and improve mental and physical health through mediums like Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and mobile gaming. I have a few others in development as well that are seeking innovative ways to experience the natural siciences.
Tree Tap Adventure
Recently launched on Apple and Android mobile devices. I co-created the project and worked across all areas of the game; as the Project Manager, Creative Director, and Marketing Lead and was highly focused on UX research, writing, & design.
Green Room VR
Green Room VR is an ongoing project that examines the possibilities of using VR to bring the benefits of forest bathing to a user's home, hospital or classroom to enhance wellbeing. We filmed the first experience in a beautiful spot about 5 hours north of Toronto, Canada.
PAST PROJECTS
Prior to moving into the digital sphere, I worked as a writer, producer and director in science and history documentary TV. I still love to work in the field and recently helped with a few exciting projects that I can't talk about just yet! Stay tuned...!
History Erased is a documentary television series I wrote for and produced. TV production is usually a combination of project management, working with big teams under strict deadlines and sometimes with multiple stakeholders. It's an incredible blend of leadership, storytelling and writing. Because I was involved from start to finish in this series, I've broken it down as a mini case study to detail the production process and showcase my work here.
